These terms and conditions govern your use of The Portfolio Method website and services at theportfolio-method.com, operated by The Portfolio Method Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Our services
The Portfolio Method provides a portfolio career audit tool, personalised AI-generated reports, educational content, and paid coaching and strategy sessions. Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over who are building or managing portfolio careers.
The Portfolio Audit
The free Portfolio Audit is an assessment tool designed to help you understand your income streams, energy levels, pricing, and visibility. The report generated is produced using AI and is intended as a starting point for reflection and planning. It does not constitute professional financial, legal, or career advice. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on your audit results.
Paid services
We offer paid products including the Portfolio Strategy Session (currently priced at £150 for 45 minutes) and other bundled offerings. When you purchase a paid service:
- Payment is required in full at the time of booking
- All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe through Calendly
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled session will receive a full refund
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of your session are non-refundable, but we will offer one reschedule at our discretion
- We reserve the right to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be issued
Intellectual property
All content on The Portfolio Method website, including the audit framework, methodology, written content, branding, and generated reports, is the intellectual property of The Portfolio Method Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Your personal audit report is yours to use for your own purposes.
Acceptable use
When using our services, you agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information in your audit responses
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy our audit methodology or AI outputs for commercial use
- Use our services in any way that is unlawful or harmful to others
- Share your account access with third parties
Disclaimer of warranties
Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. While we take care to ensure accuracy and quality, we make no warranties that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results of using them will meet your specific requirements. The AI-generated audit reports are based on the information you provide and should be treated as guidance rather than definitive advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Portfolio Method Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
